Mitchell Welsh's Malawi Experience
When we drove to Kande there was no room in the car so Jacob and I sat in the back of the Ute. When we were going down the road to Robyn’s house 3 boys jumped onto the back of the Ute and they were singing ‘ama Robbie.’(This means mother).
Let me tell you about Kande……Well their soccer balls are made out of stuffed plastic bags and string tied around them. All the boys like to play soccer but the girls don’t. The girls like to play netball but there were a lot of fouls. When I walked out of the back door, a lake was about 50 meters from the doorstep.
